  • Combine cream, sugar, and lemon zest in medium heavy saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  • Continue to boil for 10-12 minutes, stirring frequently and making sure sugar is dissolved.  Remove from heat momentarily, if mixtures begins to boil over.
  • Remove from heat, add lemon juice and allow to cool about 20 forming a skin on top.  Strain the mixture through a sieve, then pour mixture into small espresso sized cups.
  • Place cups on a small baking sheet, then refrigerate for 2-3 hours.  Garnish with berries before serving.
