- 1⁄2 cup corn flake crumbs
- 1 tablespoon corn flake crumbs
- 2 teaspoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
- 1⁄4 teaspoon sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne
- 2 - 2 1⁄2 lbs chicken pieces (6-8)
directions
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Combine all powdered ingredients in a paper or plastic bag.
- Moisten chicken pieces with water, salad dressing, etc.
- Shake 1-2 pieces at a time. Place on baking pan. I use a rack and pan to let the grease drip off.
- Bake bone-in for 1 hr, boneless for 30-40 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 (165-175 for thighs).
