ingredients
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 small yellow onion, minced
- 1⁄2 cup ketchup
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 2 (14 ounce) cans baked beans
- 2 (19 ounce) cans red kidney beans, drained
- 1 (19 ounce) can chickpeas, drained
directions
- use dutch oven or large oven safe pot.
- preheat oven to 350 deg.
- cut bacon into 1/2 inch bits, fry, do not drain fat.
- add onion to pan and fry till onion is well cooked.
- add remaining ingredients, stir (drain kidney beans and chick peas, do not rinse).
- cover and bake 60 minutes.
