"This is a easy recipe I got from my Frank Davis cookbook. Never just cook 1 cup do 4 cups and freeze! It makes a big batch that you can freeze. If you freeze it, just microwave til hot and serve."

  • In a 8 quart stock pot, bring a gallon of salted water to a rapid boil.
  • Stir in gradually 4 cups of rice and boil for 14 minutes.
  • Next drain and rinse in a metal screen colander.
  • Now add 2 cups of water to stock pot and bring to boil.
  • Now place colander over you steaming stock pot and cover for 5 minutes.
  • It will serve up grain for grain.
