Questions & Replies

  1. These look great and are similar to a recipe I've been searching for. It had four layers instead of three: one with the maraschino cherries, one with almonds and almond extract, and one was plain. These were layered and then wrapped with a chocolate layer that encircled the cookies. They were pretty and not too sweet. I found the recipe in a magazine that I bought at the grocery store at Christmas time 1988. The magazine may have been a special holiday cookie issue, because I haven't been able to find it at the library. And I've looked! My recipe was lost in a "tragic" recycling incident and I'd love to find it again. Thanks!
