Homemade Montreal Steak Seasoning

"A copycat Montreal steak seasoning blend that is MUCH less expensive and tastes like the real thing! Makes a great steak even better and the same for burgers, chops, vegetables like potatoes &broccoli!! If you're grilling, use a grill basket to keep the spices from falling through the grates."

ingredients

• 4 teaspoons coarse salt
• 1 tablespoon cracked pepper
• 1 tablespoon onion flakes
• 1⁄2 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
• 1⁄2 tablespoon thyme
• 1⁄2 tablespoon rosemary
• 1⁄2 tablespoon coriander seed
• 1⁄2 tablespoon dill
• 1 teaspoon garlic flakes

directions

1. Combine ingredients in a glass jar with an airtight lid and shake well to combine.
2. If seasonings are whole, process in a blender or food processor so that they're still large, but not whole.
