Grilled Savory Cheese Potatoes

"I found this recipe in the 2009 Betty Crocker Annual Recipes Cookbook. It's a definite keeper. I have not tried them on the grill yet; instead I cooked them in a 350 oven for the same amount of time. They came out great."

  • 4 cups o'brien frozen potatoes, with onions and bell peppers (from a 28 oz. bag)
  • 12 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

  • Heat gas or charcoal grill (or preheat oven to 350).
  • Spray 12x8" foil pan with cooking spray.
  • Place potatoes in pan.
  • Drizzle with dressing; mix gently.
  • Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  • Cover pan with foil.
  • Place pan on grill over medium heat (or place in preheated oven).
  • Cover grill; cook 20 to 25 minutes, rotating pan 1/2 turn after 10 minutes, until potatoes are tender.
  • To serve, carefully remove foil.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
