Graham Cracker Meatloaf (Oamc)

"This recipe was posted on the internet when "The Big Cook" cookbook was coming out. We tried it and loved it. It freezes well, making it perfect for a OAMC session or bulk cooking. Recipe is written for 1 loaf, multiply to make multiples. I usually make at least 2 when I include it in my meatloaf session."

The Graham cracker flavor ruined the meatloaf. I should never have tried it, wasted excellent meat. Lots of ketchup made it edible, barely.

Ok, I love weird food so I had to try this, and I needed to use up some graham cracker crumbs anyway. It was a good a meatloaf; very moist and flavorful. Aside from a bit of sweetness, you can't really tell there's graham cracker crumbs in this. Is that good or bad? I guess I don't know, but since you can't really taste them anyway, I'll stick with breadcrumbs or oatmeal in my meatloafs. The overall flavor doesn't really justify the added calories and sugar from the graham crackers crumbs.

This was very good! Tweak 1 wrap it in bacon Tweak 2 pour Over the top brown sugar and catsup glaze ( simply catsup and brown sugar mixed together) And add cheddar cheese in the meatloaf and on top

I'm a wife and mother of 1 adult daughter and stepmom to 3 stepdaughters. Currently I do not work outside the home for pay but do a lot of volunteer work. I love to cook although I'm not a fancy cook - DH wouldn't appreciate it! I love to craft when I have time: beading, scrapbooking and soap making are three of my favorites. <img src="http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b2/kiwidutch/my3chefs2009final-1.jpg"> <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/Permanent%20Collection/2009HolidayStockingSwapAMPageSticke.jpg"> <img src="http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j166/ZaarNicksMom/Animation6.gif"> <img src="http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j166/ZaarNicksMom/PACsticker-Adopted.jpg"> <img src="http://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr266/Acadia/Banners/CoffeeTeaSwap3.jpg"> <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/Permanent%20Collection/PACSpring09Iwasadopted.jpg"> <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/Permanent%20Collection/PACSpring09Participation.jpg">
