Goat Cheese Wildberry Phyllo Strudel

  • 8 sheets phyllo dough
  • 13 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup goat cheese, softened
  • 12 cup smuckers wildberry jam

  • Preheat oven to 375°F Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Layer 4 sheets of phyllo on top of each other and cover with damp towel until ready to use.
  • Layer remaining 4 sheets of phyllo on top of each other on the counter and brush top sheet with melted butter.
  • Place goat cheese along short end of phyllo sheet, cover with jam and place remaining 4 sheets of phyllo dough on top. Roll jelly roll style from short end, brushing butter on the ends to seal.
  • Place seam side down on prepared baking sheet. With a very sharp knife, cut slits halfay through the streudel about every 2-inches to facilitate cutting once it is baked.
  • Brush with melted butter.
  • Bake in preheated oven 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Chill at least 1 hour before serving, to allow filling to set. To serve, cut using pre-cut slits as a guide.

Her sweets are fantastics, especially her pound cakes, Yummm <br> <br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
