Glazed Fruit Skewers With Strawberry-Yogurt Dip

- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1⁄4 cup strawberry jam
- 1 teaspoon mint, very finely chopped
- 2 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
- 2 cups golden pineapple, cubed
- 2 granny smith apples, cored and cut into bite-size pieces
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 cup green seedless grapes (or a combination of both) or 1 cup red grapes (or a combination of both)
- 1 tablespoon liquid honey
- 1 pinch ground cardamom or 1 pinch cinnamon
directions
- Place yogurt in a coffee filter-lined sieve set over a bowl. Refrigerate 4 hours to drain. Discard the liquid (whey). Gently blend thickened yogurt with jam and mint until well combined. Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 day.
- Thread equal portions of watermelon, pineapple, grapes and apple onto 24 (6-inch) bamboo or metal skewers.
- Stir lemon juice with honey and cardamom or cinnamon. Arrange skewers on a platter; brush all over with the honey mixture. Serve immediately with the dip.
