Ginger-Anise Tea With Lemon and Honey

- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon anise seed
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
directions
- Bring all the ingredients to a boil in a small pan then let simmer for about 5 minutes. Pour through a strainer into a mug. For me this ends up making either a little more than one mug or enough for two small mugs.

4 3/4 stars. This is good and different than teas I've had. I used star anise instead of anise seed and freshly squeezed lemon juice. I did not boil the honey in the tea rather mixed it in after to be more healthy. I may make this again. Made for Welcome to the Comfort Cafe - Snow Queens Round 01/10.
