I added the hot coffee instead of the water, I also used the applesauce instead of oil. I baked it ten minutes less than stated. It still came out cake like. I'm actually going to crumb most of it to be the base of a peanut butter cheesecake!

I followed this recipe exactly, used a 9x13 pan as directed, baked it for 2 1/2 minutes less than time required. I was expecting sweet fudgy brownies. Instead they were cake-like and dry, and they had a bitter aftertaste. Very disappointing, waste of time and money.

I followed the ingredients exactly and baked for 35 minutes in a 9x9 pan. They came out dry and cake like, not sweet at all. They also didn't rise at all so if I hadn't baked in a 9x9 pan they would have only been about 1/4" thick. Eww. I will not be making these again.

I followed this recipe exactly and they are awful. The outside is crisp and the inside is liquid, plus it fell... No idea what happened. I bake all the time and never had a problem like this
