I used a zesty herb italian dressing and unfortunately after I mixed in all the ingrediants, it still tasted like the zesty herb italian dressing... The next time I make this dressing, I will either not use an overpowering zesty italian dressing, or increase the sugar and / or balsamic vinegar. I would have like it sweeter.

This is a wonderful dressing! I used it on a side salad of baby spinach & cucumbers-with some red onion, too-and it was great! I admit to using less balsamic vinegar than called for since I wasn't sure how much I'd like it, but it was great & next time I'll increase it. I used low fat italian dressing & the spices were perfect. Instead of parmesan, I sprinkled on just a little low fat feta. Fast, too-another plus! Thank u for sharing this.
