ingredients

• 1⁄4 lb of berkshire ham
• 1 french hero roll
• 3 slices gruyere cheese
• 1 tablespoon duck fat

directions

1. start by making your ham and cheese sandwich.
2. slab the duck fat on both sides of the sandwich and place on a pan with medium heat.
3. grill until cheese starts to melt and you get nice toasty marks on both sides of the sandwich.
