2. Awesome pancakes! I always sub out 1/4 cup of applesauce for the oil, use 2 cups oats and 3/4 cup whole wheat flour. Great taste and texture.

 3. I really enjoyed these. They kind of taste like eating oatmeal in pancake form. I cut the recipe into thirds to make one decent sized pancake for myself and topped it with bananas and peanut butter. These pancakes have a great texture, thanks!

 4. I am serving a 94 old diabetic this morning . So I replaced 3/4 cup of white flour with 1 cup of raw cashews ground into a flour . Used 1&3/4 cup of steal cut oats , full fat buttermilk , 3 egg , 2 T. Vanilla extract , also added an additional teaspoon of baking powder . I used coconut oil and coconut sugar . Allowed to sit 10 mins to allow the cashews to absorb liquids . Smells awesome !

 5. I finished eating my first try of these pancakes and really enjoyed them. The favor was really unique for pancakes but I liked it. It was more flavorful than just plain regular pancakes made with flour.

As stated in the directions these will be a thin, I added about 2&1/2 tablespoonful of whole wheat flour. I substituted milk with almond milk (original, no sugar or flavor).

FYI: My pancakes were made using 1/4 cup of mixture. I was only able to make 11 pancakes with this mixture.

Tweaks

 1. I subbed white whole wheat flour and stevia in the raw. Also added almond and vanilla extract. Our family lived them!

 2. Yes, I used WW Flour, B sugar and sometimes we add banana—love this recipe and variations!!

 3. Subbed melted butter for oil, added vanilla and cinnamon

 4. Great recipe, but substituted applesauce for the oil and maple syrup for the sugar. YUM!

 5. Very easy, good, and filling. I made as directed except used applesauce in place of oil and whole wheat flour. My kids liked them, too.
Update: This time I put all ingredients in my vitamix (blender) and blended it all up with some chocolate chips. It was even better this way! We LOVED them!
