Entenmann's Chocolate Chip Cookies

"My family loves these cookies and all of a sudden they do not sell them here anymore. I found this copycat recipe at recipegoldmine. I am not sure they are exactly like Entenman's but they are really good!"

• Ingredients: 10
• Yields: 24 cookies

ingredients

• 1 1⁄3 cups flour
• 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 cup corn oil margarine, softened
• 1⁄4 cup packed brown sugar
• 1⁄4 cup granulated sugar
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 3 tablespoons honey
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 1⁄2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

directions

1. In a small bowl mix flour, baking soda and salt.
2. In a large bowl add sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and honey and beat until creamy. Add egg, mix, then add flour mixture and mix until blended. Stir in chocolate chips.
3. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto baking sheet.
4. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 to 7 minutes.

My family all enjoyed these and said they were light, chocolatey and yum! Your recipe didn't state when to add the margarine.....so we added the marg in step 2. Photo also to be posted.

I grew up on Entenmanns and these cookies are so YUMMY! A new favorite for us! Not identical, but so very similar. These taste homemade, while Entenmann's tend to taste a bit like store bought. I doubled the recipe and these were gone in no time at our house. TY for posting!

Well I don't know what Entenmann's is, but these are awesome cookies! I never thought to use honey in a chocolate chip cookie recipe! My daughter and I had loads of fun making them and DH is making quick work of eating them all LOL
