"Grandma Elsie always had a stash of these in her freezer. Very soft cookies that you roll out. Hers were always flower shaped with a powdered sugar glaze on them."

  • Mix wet ingredients. Add all others except flour. Stir in flour gradually.
  • Chill dough.
  • When ready to roll out, knead in more dough if needed. The more flour you use, the harder the cookie will be, so use sparingly. Cut out shapes and put on cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350 degrees. Do not overbake.
  • When cooled, frost with any powdered sugar based glaze.
