El Guapo Taco Seasoning

"This a good basic seasoning for street tacos or anything needing a little Southwestern kick. It's not hot, just a good balance of mild peppers and seasonings. Make it and save mucho dinero."

• Yields: 10 oz

ingredients

• 1 tablespoon chipotle pepper
• 3 tablespoons ground cumin
• 2 teaspoons oregano
• 1 tablespoon garlic powder
• 1 tablespoon onion flakes (ground)
• 1 teaspoon dried ancho chile powder
• 2 tablespoons paprika
• 3 tablespoons chili powder
• 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 3 tablespoons sea salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
• 1 tablespoon black pepper

directions

1. Grind the coarse spices in a coffee grinder.
2. Combine all together in an airtight container.
3. Store in a cool dry area.
