I was searching for a Basic White Cake recipe today because I had some coconut flakes I wanted to use up, so as I was searching online, I found this one. It was extremely easy to make and all of the ingredients I had at home. I also wanted something I could have as a dessert with my evening coffee or with my coffee in the morning. So happy I found this one. I haven’t eaten a slice yet, but I’m sure it’s delicious which is why I gave it 5 stars already. I used my coconut flakes to make a coconut frosting. Also, instead of vanilla extract in the cake batter and frosting, I substituted with coconut extract. I had a craving for a coconut cake. This is a recipe I’ve saved in my recipe box. Thank You :)
