FOR THE BROWNIES
- 1 cup butter
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate squares, chopped into pieces (2oz each)
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup nestle toll house semisweet chocolate morsel

FOR THE FILLING
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla

- Preheat oven to 350°F Grease 9x13-inch baking pan.
- FOR THE BROWNIES: Microwave batter and baking squares in large, microwave-safe bowl on high power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10-20 second intervals, stirring until smooth, Stir in sugar, flour, eggs, baking powder, salt and vanilla. Gently stir in morsels. Spread half of the batter into prepared pan.
- FOR THE FILLING: Beat sugar, egg, cream cheese, butter, flour and vanilla in small bowl until creamy. Spread over brownie batter.
- Spoon remaining batter over cream cheese mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from side of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack; cut into bars. Store in refrigerator.
