directions

  • Measure and add liquid ingredients to the bread pan.
  • Measure and add dry ingredients (except yeast) to the bread pan.
  • Use your finger to form a well (hole) in the flour where you will pour the yeast. Yeast must never come into contact with a liquid when you are adding ingredients. Add yeast to well.
  • If possible, use the 'sweet' setting on your breadmaker.
  • Raisins and walnuts should be added during the kneading cycle. Some breadmakers will beep to tell you when.

  1. This bread had a very nice flavor. It was a bit more dense than I like my bread. I will make it again but next time will increase the yeast a little bit to compensate. Will probably make great toast in the morning. Made for Spring PAC 2010 http://www.recipezaar.com/bb/viewtopic.zsp?t=327498&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

  2. A healthier take on your normal raisin bread. Loved the walnuts in this bread so would actually double the amount next time. Would also double the amount of raisins. (-; Made for PAC Spring 2010. Thanks for posting!
