ingredients
- 1 avocado (a whole one or just half)
- 1 cup milk
- honey (to taste) or artificial sweetener (to taste)
- ice cube
directions
- Put everything in a blender, and enjoy!
- Note: I tend to wing it when I make this recipe, and usually just pour in some milk, so just do what seems to work for you. Also, I think it tastes gross with honey, but I do believe that's the authentic Brazilian way to do it. I use two packets of Stevia sweetener instead.

I made this with homemade cashew milk & raw local honey. We also sliced bananas on top with more drizzling of raw local honey and some chopped almonds and pistachios in the fashion of a local shop which sells a similar smoothie. Next time I would like to try with just water as I didn't feel it benefited from the dairy free milk. Made for Healthy Choices Tag Game 2013.
