ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1⁄4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 large fresh garlic cloves
- 1⁄2 cup fresh cilantro
- 1 (8 ounce) can low-fat cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups rice
directions
- Place everything in a crock pot, except for the rice, and cook on high for 5 hours. After 5 hours, remove chicken and cut into small chunks. Put back into sauce mix and add two cups quick cooking rice. Cook on high for an additional 30 minutes.

I tried this recipe simply because I happened to have all the ingredients on hand. I wasn't really sure whether I would like it or not, however, I was pleasantly surprised. I cooked my rice, using brown rice, on the stove and added chopped broccoli; then stirred everything together. It was a nice mix and I will add it to my collection of chicken recipes. Thanks for sharing.

I made my rice in a rice cooker, shredded my chicken and put it back in the slow cooker. I did not add cilantro as we do not like it. I did not mix the rice into the slow cooker just placed the chicken mixture on top of the rice.<br/><br/>It was really good. Mine was not salty as one of the previous posters said her's was. <br/>I will make this again but maybe noodles instead of rice.
