  • Soak broccoli in water untill thawed.
  • Drain green beans and asparagus.
  • Saute carrots, celery, onions and garlic untill soft.
  • Add green beans, asparagus, and broccoli.
  • Cook 2-4 minutes Add salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Add 1/2 cup flour to make a roux, cook 1-2 minutes.
  • Add 1-1/2 cups milk and cook untill thick.
  • Add 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.
  • Puree in blender untill smooth and there are no chunks.
  • Return to pot. Season with salt and pepper.
