  • 1 lb kielbasa, fully cooked, cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 12 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 12 cups water
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 12 teaspoon dried basil
  • 14 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 18 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
  • 1 (4 1/2 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 cup uncooked instant rice
  • 14 cup grated parmesan cheese

directions

  • In a large skillet, cook sausage and onion in oil until onion is tender, drain.
  • Combine the water, soup, basil, thyme, and pepper and add to skillet.
  • Stir in broccoli and mushrooms, and bring to a boil.
  • Stir in rice.
  • Cover and remove from the heat, let stand 5-7 minutes or until rice is tender.
  • Sprinkle with cheese.

  1. Made exactly as written. It was very filling, but we found it just a touch bland. I would make it again adding some additional seasoning and possibly using milk in place of the water. My husband did eat two large servings though, so I am giving it 4 stars.

Will make no adjustments. <br />3 stars - good, might consider an adjustment <br />2 stars- Okay- will make adjustment <br />1 star- debatable I will make again, would with right adjustment <br />0 stars - Will not attempt again.</p>
