KFC's coleslaw contains only Cabbage Carrots Onion Vinegar and Sugar. Lots of sugar! Mix vinegar and sugar to the consistency of apple sauce. The white dressing is the acid of the vinegar and sugar pulling color out of the cabbage.

Good flavour but HOLY ONIONS. I'll add only half next time. Maybe even a third.

Bravo! I've been searching for a good creamy cole slaw recipe for a long time, and I have found it! This recipe is going to become a regular in this house. I used very low-fat mayonnaise from Trader Joe's, and I was out of buttermilk so I substituted 2% milk with a few extra drops of white vinegar. I guess you could say my version is low-fat, but it tastes fantastic. Also threw in some poppy seeds to add color.
