ingredients

• 2 1⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1⁄2 cup soft butter or 1/2 cup Butter Flavor Crisco
• 1 1⁄4 cups sugar
• 1 cup apple butter
• 1⁄2 cup milk
• 1⁄2 cup nuts, chopped and toasted

directions

1. Preheat over 400 degrees.
2. Whisk flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
3. In a second bowl, cream the butter/Crisco and sugar until fluffy and light in color. Beat in apple butter and milk.
4. Beat in dry ingredients. Lastly stir in nuts.
5. Drop teaspoonful of dough 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Cookies will spread.
6. Bake 10-12 mintues. Take out an cool on racks.
7. Sprinkle with powder sugar.
