Compound V Cocktail
"This drink was created by Chef Ludo Lefebre for a limited appearance at his restaurants to celebrate The Boys’ Emmy nominations this summer . I understand this is a TV show, but one I am not familiar with. The drink looks interesting, so I am posting. Published by Sunset Magazine."

- 4 mint leaves
- 6 blueberries
- 1 ounce lime juice, divided
- 2 ounces rum
- 1 ounce blue curacao
- soda water

Garnish
- mint sprig
- 3 blueberries
- lime slice
directions
- 1. Combine the mint leaves, 6 blueberries and 1/2 ounce of the lime juice in a cocktail shaker. Muddle the fruit into the juice.
- 2. Add the rest of the lime juice, the rum and the curacao, and ice, and shake to combine.
- 3. Strain into a Collins glass with fresh ice and top with soda water. Garnish with mint sprig, 3 blueberries (on a bar pick), and lime slice.

My screen name is a diminutive in Lithuanian for bread, so you won't be suprised to learn that I love to bake bread. In recent years I have been baking a lot of sourdough breads and have several starters sitting in my refrigerator. But I like to cook a lot of other things, as well, especially from various cultures. The cat wishes I would concentrate on meat and fish... I joined a few years ago but started posting recipes and participating in forums just recently - I wish I had done so earlier.
