Chocolate Oreo Mud Shake

ingredients
- 8 Oreo cookies
- 1 cup chocolate ice cream or 1 cup vanilla ice cream, may substitute with Cool Whip
- 2 teaspoons hot cocoa or 2 teaspoons chocolate powdered milk
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1 sprig mint (to garnish) (optional)
directions
- Place all ingredients exept mint into blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Garnish with mint.

I whipped this up for my 6 y.o. son; but I tasted too! :-) This is a great shake! I followed directions, as written, using some powdered chocolate Ovaltine, in place of the hot cocoa/choc. powdered milk. I must say I forgot the mint, and I know it would have added a touch of brightness. Thanks so much for sharing your creation, Pengukay. This hit the spot with my youngest DD who didn't know what to have for a snack. I made enough for the whole family to have, the first batch I used chocolate oreo's and the second batch I used mint oreo's. Both were equally good. These shakes are very chocolatey. Thanks for posting we will be making this again.
