These are seriously the best chocolate chip cookies ever. They are soft and doughy, just delicious. I added your recommended 1 cup of butter (used Brummel & Brown natural yogurt butter though), and it was perfect. The only thing I did differently was add the chocolate chips after the cookie dough was already spooned onto the cookie sheet...this is just a personal preference, as I prefer to keep the # of chips/cookie to a minimum (4-6 depending on size of cookie). Thanks for sharing!

Mmmm, these chocolate cookies are divine! They have a perfect texture (crumbly, but soft as well) and the taste is pure heaven! :) I made half the recipe and ended up with 17 cookies, but they were rather big and thick, cause thats how I like them. I only made some small changes due to personal taste preference: Used all butter and a little less than called for, reduced the sugar to 1tbs as the chocolate added enough sweetness for me and didnt use the nuts as Im allergic. The final cookies were gobbled up around here and Ill certainly be making these again soon. They are easy, tasty and great for sharing. THANKS SO MUCH for sharing these with us, Mersaydees!
