    (12 ounce) can Coca-Cola
  • 14
    cup dry sherry or 1/4 cup chinese rice wine
  • 2
    medium onions, chopped
  • 2
    garlic cloves, minced
  • 2
    scallions, chopped finely
  • 2
    tablespoons soy sauce
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 12
    lbs chicken wings (if previously frozen, allow to thaw overnight in refrigerator) or 2 1/2 lbs ribs (if previously frozen, allow to thaw overnight in refrigerator)

DIRECTIONS

  • Combine all ingredients except chicken or ribs in a large bowl.
  • Mix in the chicken or ribs and coat with marinade. Refrigerate for 6-8 hours or overnight.
  • When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Lay out the chicken or ribs on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
  • Bake for 2 hours. Serve immediately.
