ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup dill pickle, chopped fine
- 4 cups chicken, cooked and torn into small pieces
- 1 cup tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup green onion, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 1⁄2 cups plain nonfat yogurt
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 3⁄4 teaspoon pepper
directions
- Combine all ingredients.
- Keep chilled.

I made this for a dinner pot luck. I didn't use pickles or tomato's, but added red bell peppers and brown rice noodles. We all loved the salad and I shared the ingredients with most of my friends. This would be a fabulous salad per original recipe to put in pitas. I posted a photo of what my version looked like. Happy creating.

This is FABULOUS!! I almost did not make this because it uses plain yogurt (not a big fan)...but you would not even know it is in here!! Even picky DH who is not big on low fat cooking enjoyed it! I have already bought the ingredients to make another batch. I cannot believe how few calories there are and SO LOW fat! I served the chicken salad in a pita (very good) and with a side salad. This was EXCELLENT!!
