  • Combine ingredients, except for the chicken breasts, in small saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes and cool.
  • Pour over the chicken breasts and marinate for 3 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Grill chicken until done.

  1. I marinated a turkey breast overnight with this recipe and cooked it in the oven. I really liked the flavor and so did the guest as well.
     
  2. I have used this recipie several times and it has always been a wow factor when the chicken is grilled on the barbeque.
     
  3. This got mixed reviews out our house. Some liked it and others didn't. I followed the recipe exactly as written other then I made it into a dump recipe. I added all the ingredients in a freezer bag and froze. When I was ready to cook, I pulled and let thaw in the fridge overnight. I also cooked it in the crockpot for convenience. The meat was moist but some liked the taste and others didn't.

  5. My family and I loved this recipe!! I accidently added to much juice so I added a little more brown sugar. Also I broiled instead of grilling. Very easy preparation and even easier to cook. I sided this chicken w/ rice and stir fry veggies. Delicious!

After all these years I'm trying to get all my index cards and clippings, that still sound interesting to me, posted here so that I can find them and eventually make them! <br /> <br />I've posted some of my Mom's recipes. I regret not having paid more attention to my Grandmothers' cooking. They made some dishes that I miss and there were/are no recipes for them. <br /> <br />I have a wonderful DH and 2 wonderful sons. They are thrilled that I found this site since they directly benefit from it! Before finding 'Zaar, I was less of a cook and more of a recipe collector but now I try many more things and we're having more fun in the kitchen (at least I am)! <br /> <br />Thanks for all your ratings, comments and help in the forums AND for posting so many great recipes. You've enhanced my cooking skills and expanded my horizons! I've learned so much. <br /> <br />For fun, I also like to read fiction, travel, see movies and shows, shop (and I love to browse thrift shops and rummage/garage sales for cookbooks, etc.). <br /> <br />The discovery of a new dish does more for the happiness of mankind than the discovery of a new star Brillat-Savarin</p>
