  1. Thanks so much for this! I love Cherry Coke and have been looking around in the grocery stores to see if they sold a mixture like this to put in sodas. I can't always find Cherry Cokes in my area. Now I can make my own! Thanks again for this recipe!

  2. This was and interesting experiment. The boys liked it, but who wouldn't like more sugar added to their pop. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Mary, thank you for posting. I used Splenda since I'm newly diagnosed as diabetic. I miss my grenadine syrup, but this is great in a Fresca with a ittle lime juice. YUMMY!!!!!

  4. Really very good. I used the syrup in some diet coke, let the kids have it with sprite. Would also be good as a snow cone syrup or with different flavors of koolaid. I'm also thinking with a little less water it would be good for kids over ice cream or to use for milk shakes. A good way to get that extra artificial coloring, artificial flavoring and sugar that's been missing from my diet. (ha!). Thanks, Mary Parker, for a wonderful and cheap idea!

  5. This tasted just like the store-bought syrup and is so much easier on the budget. I made it exactly as directed and it was perfect. Thanks for a great recipe, Mary!
