"Grandpa's recipe handed down from my mother. (Some call it chicken Cordon Bleu, but I don't use Swiss Cheese.) Quick, easy and delicious."

ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Wash the chicken breasts and shake off excess water.
  • Cut a large slit in the side of each breast to create a pocket.
  • Roll 1 to 2 slices of ham and chicken together and insert in the created pocket.
  • Spray a baking dish with cooking spray and place the chicken in the pan. Pour the can of Cream of Chicken soup over then breasts, but mostly around the breasts.
  • Salt and pepper to taste. Place pan in the oven, watch from time to time so nothing burns.
  • Optional: 12 to 15 min before the chicken is done, push the chicken pieces to the edges and pour enough stuffing mix, while stirring, to create a very thick liquid. (Do not pull in any soup that is not already in the middle.). Finish cooking and then enjoy!
