Caipiroska

"Should you be short on cachaca for Caipirinhas, try the vodka version!"

• Ingredients: 4
• Serves: 1

ingredients

• 1⁄2 lime, sliced
• 2 teaspoons sugar (or to taste)
• 40 ml vodka
• crushed ice

directions

1. Place the lime wedges on the bottom of an old fashioned glass and add sugar.
2. Crush sugar into the lime pulp with the end of a wooden spoon.
3. Fill glass with crushed ice.
4. Pour in vodka, stir.
5. Serve with a straw: easier to drink& you can keep stirring and mushing the limes!

I didn't have cachaca, so I decided to try a caipiroska. I'm glad I did! I used 50 mL of citrus vodka, the juice of one lime, and a tablespoon of brown sugar. Fantastic!
