ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs lean ground beef
- 3⁄4 cup spaghetti sauce
- 1⁄4 cup prepared Italian breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 10 thick slices Italian bread
- 10 slices provolone cheese
directions
- In a bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients, mix well, and shape into 5 patties.
- Broil patties on rack with tops about 3 inches from heat, for 4-6 minutes on each side.
- On a baking sheet, lightly toast each bread slice.
- Place 1 slice of cheese on 5 bread slice, top with patty, and second slice of cheese.
- Place another slice of bread on top and place baking sheetin oven, and leave in oven for 5 minutes or until cheese melts slightly.
- Spread remaining spaghetti sauce on burgers and serve.

I started to learn to cook, after I got married, when my wife started working nights, and I couldn't get around because I had my entire left leg rebuilt. Will make no adjustments. <br />3 stars - good, might consider an adjustment <br />2 stars- Okay- will make adjustment <br />1 star- debatable I will make again, would with right adjustment <br />0 stars - Will not attempt again.</p>
