Bourbon Rib Glaze

"Also great on grilled chicken wings! Enough sauce for 2 racks of ribs. From the cookbook Cooking with Wine and Spirits."

• Ingredients: 10
• Yields: 2 1/2 cups

ingredients

• 1 cup Bourbon
• 1⁄2 cup dark brown sugar
• 1 cup catsup
• 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1⁄4 cup vinegar
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 1⁄2 teaspoon dry mustard
• 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt

directions

1. Combine all ingredients: mix well.
2. Brush ribs with a thin coating of glaze and place on grill. Continue to baste when turning ribs.

This was DEEELISH! I hate to admit at first, I thought about tossing it. It just was a little more bite than I was used to. But when the fire hit the chops...Mom and Me, well, we dug in like two little pigs! I served them with broccoli & cheese potatoe skins, fresh turnip greens from the farmer's market, homebaked bread, and, of course, sweet tea. What A FEAST! Thanks Luv...I'll be using this quite a bit!
