ingredients
- 3 1⁄2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1⁄2 cup barbecue sauce, purchased
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
- cheddar cheese, grated
directions
- Mix first 5 ingredients and form into patties. Cook by preferred method and melt cheddar cheese on top.

Excellent! I cut this down to two 1/4 lb burgers. For BBQ sauce, I used homemade (#159145) though my conversion may have been a little off as I think there was just a bit too much sauce, making the mixture a little too soft - they wanted to fall apart a bit when I flipped them. Otherwise, this was excellent! I thought they might need more sauce on top after cooking but they were plenty flavorful without any extra. I used sliced cheddar as it was what I had on hand. Served with nothing more than pickles on top (I can't have a burger with out pickles!) Thanks so much for sharing!
