Barbecue Chicken Rub

"For Chicken legs (4 legs) use half a recipe of Barbecue sauce; for whole chicken (3lb) use one recipe of Barbecue rub."

  • Mix all ingredients. Store in an airtight container until needed.
  • Coat chicken generously with rub and roast or grill.
  • GRILL: Preheat barbecue to high. Grill chicken for two minutes per side. To complete cooking, place chicken to one side of the grill, away from direct heat (if using gas BBQ, turn off heat source beneath chicken and reduce heat on other side to medium).
  • Cook covered for 30-35 minutes turning often. When a thermometer inserted into the thigh part of the leg reads 170F remove chicken and serve.
  • NOTE: Throw out any leftover rub that has come in contact with raw chicken.

  1. Delicious on Chicken or pork!!! I used one teaspoon each of all the spices and the 1/4 cup brown sugar. My favorite rub on a pork loin that is grilled on a charcoal grill. Thank you for sharing:)

Her sweets are fantastics, especially her pound cakes, Yummm <br> <br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
