Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Dates

• Ingredients: 7
• Yields: 30 dates
• Serves: 8-10

ingredients

• 30 pitted dates
• 30 slices prosciutto or 30 slices thin bacon
• 1 (8 ounce) package feta cheese
• 1⁄2 cup cream cheese
• 2 teaspoons mixed herbs (oregano, basil, savory, etc.)

• Glaze

• 1 cup balsamic vinegar
• 1⁄2 cup brown sugar

directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Crumble feta cheese into a bowl and add cream cheese and mixed herbs.
3. Spoon cheeses into dates with a small spoon.
4. Cut prosciutto or bacon to fit once around each date and secure with a toothpick.
5. Bake until outside is browned and crisped, around 10 minutes.

7. While waiting for dates to bake, mix vinegar and sugar into a sauce pan and boil on high for a minute, stirring constantly.
8. Take vinegar reduction off of heat and let set to thicken.
9. When dates are done, take out of oven and drizzle reduction over the dates.
