ingredients
- 3⁄4 cup rice
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1⁄2 bunch green onion, sliced
- 1⁄2 bunch parsley, chopped
- 1⁄4 bunch mint, chopped
- 2 tablespoons ground sumac
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon allspice
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt, to taste
- 1 lemon, juice of
- 1⁄2 cup plus tbl olive oil
- 1 (14 ounce) can chickpeas
- 1⁄3 cup chickpeas
directions
- mix and stuff away.
- Southern Lebanon omit lemon and olive oil and inctease sumac to 3 tablespoons.
- another variation is to omit sumac and increase lemon to taste.

I always barbecued and camp cooked but now that I am retired and my wife is disabled I do almost all the cooking. My preference is for recipes that are fairly simple with over the top results.
And most important I still ride my 1940 Indian!!
