Aunt Mabel's Party Meatballs

"In the summers, when I was young, my grandmother would take me to her family home in Missouri for visits with relatives. I have many precious memories of times with her. My Aunt Mabel would make these meatballs for all our family reunions. I have made these many times. They are so tasty!!"

• Yields: 60 meatballs

ingredients

• Meatballs

• 2 lbs lean ground beef
• 2 cups corn flakes, crushed
• 2 eggs
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1⁄3 cup parsley flakes
• 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
• 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1⁄3 cup catsup
• 2 tablespoons onions, dried minced

• Sauce

• 1 (16 ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce
• 1 (12 ounce) bottle chili sauce
• 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice

directions

1. Mix all ingredients for meatballs in large bowl.
2. Roll into walnut size balls.
3. Place in 9 x 13 pan.
4. Mix all ingredients for sauce and cook until the cranberry sauce melts.
5. Pour sauce evenly over the meatballs.
6. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or more.
