Aunt Barbara's Spicy Apple Twists

"My Aunt Barbara always came up with the best ideas! Here's one everyone has loved. Great comfort food served hot with vanilla ice cream is the way to serve this! NEVER anything left when this is served. A note from my cousin - use water if orange juice isn't available AND you can cut the OJ with a little lemon juice to cut down on the sweet."
