  • 3
    eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 13
    cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 13
    cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 2
    medium apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1
    (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk, Eagle Brand (NOT evaporated milk)
  • 1
    (8 ounce) container sour cream

  • ground cinnamon (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
  • Stir in apples.
  • Pour batter into well-greased and floured 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
  • In medium bowl, combine EAGLE BRAND® and sour cream; mix well.
  • Stir in lemon juice.
  • Remove cake from oven; spread sour cream mixture evenly over hot cake.
  • Return to oven, bake 5 minutes or until set.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon (optional).
  • Cool. Chill. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.
