DIRECTIONS

  • Peel & core the apple, Slice it into 12 wedges or sections.
  • Add brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla to a large bowl - mix well with wire whisk.
  • Open bacon, peel pieces off and drop them all in the bowl of brown sugar & cinnamon.
  • With your hands, work the bacon through the sugar until it is all coated evenly and there is no loose sugar left in the bown.
  • Wrap one piece of bacon around one apple wedge, using a toothpick to hold the loose end in place.
  • Grill indirect on low to medium heat until both the apple and bacon are cooked. Approx 60-75 minutes.
