I copied this out of an old vintage cocktail book one time, I don't remember what it was called, but I've always liked this drink...although I don't indulge in it very often. It is sort of a twist on a Bloody Mary with extra flavor and kick. You can substitute the pepper infused vodka with plain.

  • Salt the rim of a highball glass and chill.
  • Combine the ginger, wasabi, garlic, soy, and pepper in a bowl and muddle into a paste. It will be slightly lumpy.
  • Stir in the vodka.
  • Pour mixture in a large mixing glass or cocktail shaker along with tomato juice and lime juice. Mix well.
  • Fill the chilled glass with ice and add the vodka mixture.
  • Garnish with the lime wedge. Enjoy!
