  • 2 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 1 cup Amaretto
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
  • 4 ounces espresso (shots)
  • steamed milk
  • 13 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate, grated

  • In a heavy saucepan, combine finely chopped chocolates, sugars and half-and-half.
  • Simmer over low heat until chocolate is melted and sugar is dissolved.
  • Cool.
  • Add amaretto and refrigerate until serving time.
  • To serve, pour 1/4 of the mixture into each coffee cup.
  • Add 1 shot espresso to each cup and fill with steamed milk.
  • Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
  • Serve immediately.
