Aloha Macaroni Salad

"I got this recipe from a Philipino friend who got it from her sister. A very delicious twist on macaroni salad. Simple to make and dissappears very quickly!! A meal in itself, it makes a nice lunch on a hot day."

ingredients

• 1⁄2 lb elbow macaroni
• 0.5 (32 ounce) jar Miracle Whip
• 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple tidbits
• 1⁄2 lb sharp cheddar cheese
• 3⁄4 cup raisins
• 1 medium carrot

directions

1. Dice carrot and steam until crisp-tender.
2. Boil macaroni in boiling water 7-10 minutes or until al-dente.
3. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
4. Chill for 2 hours or overnight prior to serving.
