1940's Original Sloppy Joes

"This is the original sloppy joe recipe that I found on http://theculinarycellar.com/memorial-day-and-a-1940s-recipe/. What is listed below is my updated recipe that tweaks it a bit for my family's tastes. It's now perfect and sooooooooooooooo easy to make. Recipe can be doubled (or more) easily with no worries that the taste will get messed up."

  1. All we could taste was the ketchup, which made it way too sweet. I like my own recipe better.
